I have looked around on the internet and managed to download the book as a pdf, now i can read the first chapter and get an idea of the content. i have also downloaded a couple of audio versions of the book with different voices but need to decide which voice is more interesting and would be better to use in my video

initial ideas

I have recently came across the idea of kinetic typography, there are lots of videos of kinetic typography used for music videos on youtube.
Initially i was thinking about using this idea for my D&AD project for a music video but as this has been done a lot before for music videos i am thinking about using it for this projects instead. Using the moving type to illustrate the chapter of the book along with someone reading it. i think this will make reading the book more interesting. the main program people use to do these videos is after effects and i dont have this program. so the only way i could do this would be to use flash.

ISTD briefs

The first brief that caught my eye was the typographically themed restaurant  (mutton quad), even after spending a long time on the last project for yo sushi doing something very similar.
The other brief that i am thinking about looking at is (flatland) to find an interesting new way to produce a chapter of the book
